Townville

Townville for original Call of Duty is the first real map I made. It has a face only a mother could love but it ended up being pretty fun to play. It was reasonably popular, too, probably because the leading map download website at the time kept it as a front page featured map for several weeks. I think what sets it apart from most other maps, and maybe what people found fun about it, was the ease and amount of rooftop access. That wasn't really my intention when I started making it, but because it's on a hill, there were just places where you could easily get on the roof of the adjacent building. And, being the primates that we are, we do love to climb things so I just went with it. Whatever the reason, people did like it. It was used in a couple of mods and put in a few map packs and was ported by other people to Call of Duty 2 and, amazingly, to World at War twice.
